Report from Optimise
Part of the flood alleviation work that Optimise (Thames Water’s contractors) needs to carry out, will be in local parks – Westbourne Green and Tamplin Mews Gardens. The start of the work in the parks has been delayed for a number of reasons but Thames Water are hoping to start work shortly.
Optimise and Active Westminster are working together to provide alternative activities while there are construction works in both parks. In April, Step Up to Fitness classes and other activities will be ongoing.
Optimise is working with Westminster City Council to landscape The Pit on Harrow Road. They would like to have your opinion about the plans, and will be holding a drop in from 4.30pm until 7.00pm on Tuesday 25 February at the Warwick Community Hall, 300 Harrow Road, so drop by and give your views about these proposals.
