Westbourne Green Works

Thames Water’s flood alleviation works at Westbourne Green and Tamplin Mews are drawing towards their final stages. In Westbourne Green, the tunnel under the canal up to the Green is now complete, as are the two small buildings close to the new entrance to the Green on Harrow Road.

Taking into account the need to landscape anew, the Green is not likely to be back into full use much before June.

Another bit of the project which has not started yet relates to the Pit, at the corner of Harrow Road and Bourne Terrace. The new arrangements should come later than expected. Watch this space.
