Safety and Crime Prevention

Since April 2014, the Safer Neighbourhood Panel for Westbourne has been meeting every three months to discuss issues of safety and crime prevention in our community.

In their dialogue with the Met’s Safer Neighbourhood Team, members of the Panel set priorities for policing in the area. For about a year, these have been: violence (including domestic violence), drugs and anti-social behaviour. At the last meeting, held on 19 February, it was decided to add burglary to this list, to reflect the increasing concern about this time of crime in Westminster as a whole.
