Harrow Road development consultation

What is the project?

As part of the Harrow Road Place Plan, Westminster City Council are working with an architect-led team of professionals to lead two pieces of work:

  1. Picking up work to date and weaving it into an overarching vision that will be used to guide change over the coming years.
  2. Delivering improvements to three public spaces that are key to supporting wider neighbourhood improvements. The first focuses on Maida Hill Market Place, that has the potential to unlock jobs and revenue for residents and space for culture, community, and civic life. The second and third sit at points where the high street meets the canal, offering the chance to create greener and more inviting public spaces.

This ambitious £1.8m project is being jointly funded by the Council and the Greater London Authority’s Good Growth Fund, providing investment in local projects that can transform the neighbourhood for the better.
