Redevelopment of Taxi House at 11 Woodfield Road

Kanda Consulting, on behalf of The Collective who have acquired Taxi House, are holding a second public exhibition of proposals to redevelop Taxi House from a commercial building to a new hotel along with publicly accessible landscaped space, flexible workspace and a food and beverage offering.

The proposals represent an opportunity to open-up the site and improve access to the canal, creating an inviting, vibrant space for residents and visitors alike. The short to medium stay hotel would be owned and operated by The Collective.

After the feedback which was received from the local community at the first exhibition in February they have undertaken further work on the proposals, including on the design and scale of the development, and have developed a detailed operational management statement to ensure that the proposals successfully integrate into the neighbourhood.

They are keen to continue to meet the neighbours and understand our views on the detailed proposals prior to submitting a planning application to Westminster City Council. The public exhibition will be held at Paddington Arts, 32 Woodfield Road, W9 2BE on the following dates and times:

  • Wednesday 24th April between 3pm and 7pm
  • Thursday 25th April between 3pm and 7pm

The exhibition can be accessed through the main entrance of Paddington Arts where you will be signposted to the public exhibition to review the proposals, and will have the opportunity to meet members of the project team and provide feedback.

If you are unable to attend the exhibition during these days and times or require further information, please do not hesitate to get in touch via email at Taxihouse@kandaconsulting.co.uk or calling 0203 900 3676 and they will be delighted to meet you at an alternative convenient time.
