FREE Venue: Community Space / Church Street Library, 67 Church Street NW8 8EU 20.07.2024: Beeswax Food Wraps 14.30 — 16.30 Saturday Say goodbye to the single-use products like cling film. Learn how to save money and protect the planet by making beeswax wraps that last for a long time. Beeswax wraps are great for covering, and storaging food. Bring: 1000/0 Cotton fabrics. Men's old collared shirts are good or old bed sheets. Don't bring materials that are very thin, thick, soft, worn out or stretchy or contain non natural fibers. 27.07.2024: Jewellery making with recycled materials 14.30 — 16.30 Saturday Learn how to recycle and have fun at the same time. We will transform plastic bottless and milk bottles into gorgeous jewellery. Some of the decorations that we will use: feathers, flat pearls & rhinestones and special leathers. Bring: Small amount of clean and dry milk and plastic bottles. 03.02.2024: Luxurious beauty products for Ladies & Gents: Skin care 14.30 — 16.30, Saturday We will make products with ingredients like shea butter, jojoba oil, beeswax and essential oils. Bring: Small / tiny containers (ideally glass jars) to take the products home. Or reuse the little plastic containers that you have received from the club. 10.02.2024: Period Pads 14.30 - 16.30 Saturday Say goodbye to the single-use period pads and save money by making them yourself. Bring: old towels, t-shirts, bed sheets and fabric scraps. Preferably dark colors or white. 17.02.2024: Make up 14.30 - 16.30 Saturday We will make eco-friendly make up products like setting powder, black eyeliner and lipstick. The ingredients used are of high quality. Bring: Small / tiny containers (ideally glass jars) to take the products home. Or reuse the little plastic containers that you have received from the club.
