Helping Hands Community Network Meeting

The Community Network bringing together community leaders, practitioners and volunteers united in a desire for creating change.

The escalating problem of serious youth violence and the impact it is having on our young people and on the wider community in Westminster is of very deep concern to us all.

The Young Westminster Foundation and key community partners have developed the Helping Hands Programme that puts the community firmly in the driving seat for change.

The Community Network aims to bring together community leaders, practitioners and volunteers united in a desire for change and committed to making the community voice heard in the management of serious youth violence across the borough.

Perhaps you are reading this because somebody has already put your name forward as a community leader with a strong voice and a desire to make a difference. Perhaps you are somebody with the determination to take a leadership position in the development of a robust and informed community response to this violence epidemic.

Whichever community you represent, this invitation is for you. We look forward to meeting you at the launch of this important new initiative and to the energy we know you will bring.

Please do invite colleagues, family and friends to come along to help us shape how we address serious youth violence in our communities.
