Want to make your street a fun and safe space for kids and families?
Apply to host a Play Street or Street Play session!

Through the Active Streets Programme, you can transform residential streets into play zones- perfect for children, active travel, and cleaner air. Plus, you’ll meet your neighbours while boosting local health and wellbeing!

How it works:
Street Play: One-off road closures for kids to play

Play Street: Regular play zones during evenings and weekends. Please note you must first organise three Street Play sessions before being able to go through the process of a Play Street.

School Street: Pedestrian zones outside schools during pick-up/drop-off times – The applications must be submitted by a school.
