Mindfulness is a powerful practice that helps you connect with the present moment, reducestress, and enhance overall wellbeing. Whether you’re new to mindfulness or seek to deepen your practice, this course offers a structured and supportive environment to cultivate mindfulness skills that can benefit you long-term. 6-week Mindfulness Course To register or for more information, please contact community@bwwmind.org.uk What: Whether you are looking to reduce stress, improve focus, or simply find more joy in your daily life, mindfulness offers valuable tools to enhance your overall wellbeing. Where: Studio 125, Great Western Studios, 65 Alfred Road, W2 5EU. When: Every Wednesday 17th January – 21st February, 1.30 – 2.30 pm Activity Course Overview Session Details Week 1: 17th January Introduction to Mindfulness Explore the foundations ofmindfulness and its relevance intoday’s fast-paced world. Week 2: 24th January Mindful Breathing and Body Scan Develop breath awareness anddiscover its calming effect on the mind. Experience a guided body scanpractice to enhance awareness of bodily sensations and improve emotional regulation. Week 3: 31st January Mindful Movement and Yoga Explore mindfulness in motion through gentle yoga and movement. Walking meditation. Week 4: 7th February Awareness of Thoughts and Emotions Learn how mindfulness can help you respond to life’s challenges with greater resilience. Cultivate awareness of thoughts and emotions. Week 5: 14th February Mindful Living and Everyday Mindfulness Learn how to extend yourmindfulness beyond formal practice into your daily life. Mindful eating. Week 6: 21st February Compassion and Self-Care Learn about negativity bias and why it is often so difficult for us to have a positive outlook on life.
