First Green Westbourne networking meeting
Residents, organisations and businesses came together on the 25th May for the first Green Westbourne Networking meeting! 25 people attended the session which introduced the idea of Green Westbourne and gave people the opportunity to connect around shared interests including children and young people; nature and wellbeing; food growing; and green industries.
This is the first step in a long term project to make Westbourne Greener, Healthier and Wilder. The network will meet four times a year and receive email updates on what everyone is doing and ideas for new projects. A smaller Leadership Group will create a shared project plan and set priorities for the project in its first year.
