Join us for a cinematic journey around the world with Queen’s Park Community Council’s International Film Festival 2026. This exciting series celebrates the diverse cultural heritage of our Queen’s Park community, showcasing 10 carefully curated films from around the world that explore and celebrate the rich tapestry of people who make Queen’s Park the vibrant place it is today.

The Quiet Girl ( Irish: An Cailín Ciúin ) is a 2022 Irish coming-of-age drama film written and directed by Colm Bairéad. Set in 1981, the film follows a withdrawn nine-year-old girl raised by neglectful parents among many other siblings, who experiences a loving home for the first time when she spends the summer on a farm in Rinn Gaeltacht, County Waterford.
