Westbourne Canalside Improvements

With support from the Greater London Authority’s Good Growth Fund we’ve made major improvements to the Westbourne canalside! 🛶 ⚓

Some of these include:
• A bold new mural celebrating the past, present and future of North Paddington’s canal beneath the Westway, marking a major milestone in our North Paddington Programme 🎨

We have also introduced:
• Westminster’s largest urban drainage system, which has features that naturally absorb and manage rainwater to reduce flood risk ☔
• The introduction of animal play sculptures and play pockets, and a refurbished sundial shaped by local schoolchildren 🌞
• An upgraded shared cycle path, which includes physical cycle speed reduction measures 🚴
