Grand Junction opening

After 10 years in the planning and two years in construction, Grand Junction at St Mary Magdalene’s is now open! The church has been beautifully restored, with a new building designed by award-winning architects @dow_jones_archs.

@grandjunctionw2 is a new venue for the community, arts and culture based at St Mary Magdalene Church, with a mission to create and present an eclectic, collaborative programme of music, arts and performance for young people, families and adults, in association with @PDT.

The Launch party on the 14th November began with inspiring speeches from Fr Henry Everett, Vicar of St Mary Magdalene, National Lottery Heritage Fund, Westminster City Council and the Diocese of London, followed by brilliant performances by R&B Singer Songwriter @TertiaMay and by very talented poet @theresa_lola who presented In Search of Equilibrium.
