Westbourne Summer Festival!

A big thank you to all who came and made the Westbourne Community Games such as success! Over 200 people took part in a range of sporting activities on the day, including football, athletics, cycling, martial arts, ping pong, dancing and parkour. Everyone that took part won a certificates and medals.

Residents also enjoyed food and ice creams, a bouncy castle and face painting, and information stalls. There were also two street dance performances and a cheerleading performance from local groups!

Thank you to Eartha Pond and Geoff Biggs for opening the event, and to Councillors Adam Hug and David Boothroyd for drawing the nail biting raffle draw at the end!   Plus massive thank you to Caitlin Hicks who volunteered with the Forum to plan, coordinate and run the day!!
