Most of the colours we see around us are caused by chemicals as they absorb and reflect light! This means if we want new colours we have to ask a chemist!
Discover how scientists can use chemistry to make new dyes to colour everything from dye to paint to clothes.
You’ll also be able to try your own chemical dyes by making your own t-shirt and tote bags which you can take home!
This is a free science workshop for families with children aged 7 – 11 in the White City area, allowing you to explore our resources at your own pace. An adult must stay for the duration of the session.
