DESCRIPTION:\n\nQueen’s Park is home to the only community council in Lon
 don\, giving residents a direct say in how our neighbourhood is run. If yo
 u care about local services\, want to support community projects\, or feel
  passionate about representing your neighbours\, consider standing for ele
 ction this May.\n\nBeing a community councillor is about local leadership.
  It involves listening to residents\, making decisions on how local budget
 s are spent\, and working to improve the quality of life in our streets an
 d parks. You don’t need a background in politics to apply — local know
 ledge and a desire to help are what matter most.\n\nCome and find out more
 \nWe are hosting two informal drop-in sessions for anyone interested in th
 e role. You can attend either date to speak with current councillors and s
 taff\, ask questions\, and learn what the commitment looks like in practic
 e.\n\nDates: Thursday 12th March &amp\; Thursday 26th March\nTime: 6:00 pm
  – 8:00 pm\n\nWhy become a councillor?\nAs a councillor\, you become a v
 oice for the community. You will help manage local amenities\, influence p
 roject &amp\; planning decisions\, and work on initiatives that tackle the
  issues residents care about\, from climate action to community safety. Yo
