SUMMARY:A Verry Gerry Treasure Hunt
DESCRIPTION:Local treasure hunt followed by a brooch making workshop\n\nA b
 eer can turned into a state bed\, a postcard come carpet and key rings as 
 mural tiles. Gerry used a lot of found\, recycled and gifted objects to cr
 eate his Pompeii - and in this spirit\, we’re going on a treasure hunt a
 nd will make commemorative brooches from our voyage!\n\nThe workshop will 
 be divided into two parts: in the first half\, we’ll shift our attention
  to the little things as we quietly walk around the local area\, looking f
 or curious discarded objects and things that stand out in the city-scape. 
 Back inside\, we’ll use our findings\, notes and photos to create DIY br
 ooches.\n\nThere will be craft supplies at hand and sparkles galore to bed
 azzle and translate our objects into fabulous wearable pieces. The worksho
 p will be led by artist and animator Niklas Gustafson\, who loves world-bu
 ilding and storytelling and has been involved in the campaign to save Gerr
 ys Pompeii since 2019.\n\nAt the end of the workshop\, we hope to have mad
 e lots of fun brooches that you can take home\, or gift to the Very Gerry 
 Christmas procession later in December.\n\nLight refreshments included but
  please bring a packed-lunch as this is an all day event.\n\nBooking page\
 n\nThe workshops will be free to participate in and are all inspired by Ge
 rry’s incredible artwork! We have limited workshop space ( 12 each works
 hop so please only sign up if you are going to come along ) look forward m
 any of you! Ages 8+ but open to all ages — if under 8 with parental supe
 rvision ! It’s going to be very joyful !
